Match & Mismatch: Hot

As an alternative to that I experimented with ‘warming up’ the shots. Bringing out the orange, reds and yellows. This creates the more molten lava / orange juice / sunshine aesthetic. I really like the first 11 in different ways, but kind of find the last 2 a little gross. They feel very dragon skin, fantasy, Lord of the Rings, beer jug, gold, country pub-esque etc. Saying that, the texture of the glass in the second to last one is quite striking in those colours. The warmth does relate well to the process of making the glasses, in general, but also particularly in this case(being as it’s about burning the mould), so perhaps there is a way of taking this forward. I do like the real close up orange ones so maybe there could be something in that…
