Walk The Line: Stitching

Blog, Studio Give & Take, Walk The Line

Today’s stitching workshop with James was insightful and oddly weird timing. The night before I was planning on doing this exact thing but was unable to find my sewing kit, so it was a welcome excursion.

I’ve always been able to sew, but not that well, to say the least, learning new methods and techniques was very helpful, and cleared a few things up in my head. I definitely feel more confident and comfortable working with stitching now.

Also the practitioners and books he showed were pretty inspirational. It made me think a lot about where I want to take my practice, and gave me a lot of ideas. I kinda just wanna embroider my own clothes now too.

Here are some pics of what I did throughout the day, trying out different techniques >>>
