Impression – Anthology – Book Design

Anthology, Blog, Impression Studio, Visual Communication

Some further development on the Anthology re-design.

So far we’re looking at a thin card jacket, maybe a natural card or white, with a screen printed graphic on the front. A slightly off white thin paper inside, with centered, reasonably narrow text columns throughout, transparent (maybe coloured) sheets that will divide the sections up (into six modules) with the title of the chapter printed directly onto each, and then perfect bound. Page count comes to 96 for main text and then 156 pages in all, including dividers, endpapers etc. In terms of colour palette; either keep to one colour throughout (cover, endpapers, dividers etc.) or have a colour for each chapter, not sure yet.

Also thinking maybe a sticker for the information to go on the back…?

Here you can see different G.F Smith paper stocks and just general notes we’ve been making along the way >>>
