Playing around at home, I decided to draw from a Photo Booth photo I had of myself. I first did one using a black fine-liner, but then wanted to add some colour without ruining what I had done so far, so on the next page a did a new drawing from the photo, this time with ProMarkers, using unnaturalistic colours; Blue for the skin etc. I then scanned and over laid them, taking the opacity down slightly on the top layer.

I like the fact that they don’t really match up, but in places almost do, making the colours look like a print over the top, and also giving the impression of shadows to the face. The likeness isn’t too bad either. I have been asked to do some more for a few people, so will see how they go using the same technique, and will post up here.
